Systematic Analysis of the Supply Chain Operations Reference Model for Supporting Circular Economy

Abstract Nowadays, we produce and consume a large volume of products giving insufficient regard to what happens the before, during after use or consumption. Globally roughly one-third food produced is lost wasted each year. As world population per-capita income increase, problem gets worse. This lifestyle based on “linear” economy has become untenable, therefore adoption system business processes that implement circular principles approach proposed. However, it not clear extent current practice documenting in supply chains, SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model, reflects captures practices.
